Before becoming the Head of Central Reference in 1997, I held three positions in the University Libraries since coming to WMU in 1979: Social Sciences Librarian, Education Librarian, and Catalog Librarian. Previous to that, I was a catalog librarian at the Western Reserve Historical Society in Cleveland, Ohio. I have a Master of Science in Library Science from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, and a B.A. in History from Miami University, both in Ohio. In 1986, I earned an M.A. in History at Western Michigan University.
