DART: assisting teachers to use the English profile
Abstract
This paper looks at how the DART (Developmental Assessment Resource for Teachers) materials can assist teachers to use the English profile. The first section provides the conceptual context for DART - the English profile and strands and the challenge of inferring levels of achievement. An overview of the DART package follows. Examples of assessment tasks from the DART viewing materials are then discussed.Suggested Citation
