Before coming to Boise State University in 2010, Dr. Marcus Wolfe directed a jazz band at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and a jazz ensemble at Triton College. He holds a D.M.A. in Jazz Studies from the University of Illinois, and Master’s and Bachelor’s degrees in Jazz Studies from the University of North Texas. Dr. Wolfe has extensive performance and recording experience as a member of jazz ensembles large and small, and has shared his experience with students as a teacher and clinician.
