A native of Italy, Marco Lamandini's research interests are in the area of
company law, corporate governance, banking law, securities law, and intellectual
property. He obtained his law degree cum laude from the Università di Bologna, where he
teaches commercial law, and a master of laws degree from London School of Economics and
Political Science. He also teaches securities law at the Università Cattolica del Sacro
Cuore in Milan. A visiting fellow at the Max Plank Institut fur auslandisches und
internationales Wettbewerbsrecht in Munich, at Magdalene College in the University of
Cambridge and at Boalt Hall, School of Law of the University of California at Berkeley,
he does consulting work for the European Parliament. A small sample of his publications
