About Maira Bundza

My main responsibility at University Libraries is to manage ScholarWorks, our scholarly institutional repository. This is meant to showcase and preserve the research and creative activities of faculty, students and staff. We have facilitated the inclusion of new and existing journals, conferences and other events, as well as faculty publications, dissertations, theses, projects, etc.
I also provide reference and research assistance at the desk, through our e-mail service, and individually. I am liaison to the Gender & Women' Studies Department and Global & International Studies Program. I offer library research instruction to various classes.
I am interested in open access, institutional repositories, information literacy, assessment, international education, providing the best access to our resources through our website.
My current research interest is in Baltic resources - providing researchers information about libraries, archives and other collections, as well as print and online catalogs, indexes and other reference sources to materials in and about the Baltic countries of Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania.
