Before attending U.C. Berkeley School of Law, Anderson worked as a private
investigator in the Bay Area. He is currently the Assitant Managing Editor of the World
Arbitration and Mediation Review, and an associate at Jones Day in San Francisco.

Anderson focuses on complex civil litigation and arbitration, working on a wide range of
matters including international tort defense and enforcement proceedings related to
arbitration and foreign judgments. He has experience in many aspects of discovery (in the
U.S. and abroad), managing and coordinating investigations, and motion practice. Anderson
was a member of the trial team that achieved a full defense verdict on numerous Alien
Tort Statute claims, which was ranked as the top California defense verdict in 2008 by
the Daily Journal. He is currently occupied with a BIT arbitration and multiple parallel
domestic proceedings between a South American State and a multinational oil
company.
