In addition to her academic duties, Dr. Brann serves as the Nutrition Education
Coordinator and Member of the Board of Directors for Lion’s Camp Hickory day camp for
children with type 1 diabetes. She coordinates and supervises nutrition students for the
nutrition education component of the camp and is involved with the menu planning and
evaluation.
