Abstract
Article 11 of Regulation No 609/2013 empowers the European Commission to adopt, inter alia, delegated acts to establish specific compositional and information requirements applicable to “total diet replacement for weight control” and, in this context, the Commission approved, in June 2017, the Commission Delegated Regulation (EU) 2017/1522 supplementing Regulation (EU) No 609/2013 of the European Parliament and of the Council as regards the specific compositional and information requirements for total diet replacement for weight control.
