Qualifications Masters of Laws - University of South Africa Bachelors of Laws - University of South Africa Baccalaureat Procurationes - University of South Africa Bachelors of Arts Honours Degrees (3) - University of Pretoria Louise Parsons joined Bond University in May 2006 after moving to Australia in January 2006. She was in-house legal counsel in the South African Reserve Bank for 11 years, heading the Corporate, Commercial and Employment Law section (1995-2005). She worked in the Commercial Department of SASOL (a large petro-chemical company in South Africa) for a period of approximately 5 years focusing on the negotiating and drafting of various commercial contracts (1990-1995). Louise lectured in Philosophy at the University of Pretoria for 18 months and also worked as editor and translator for Sanlam and the South African Reserve Bank before joining SASOL.
