Dr Louise Holdsworth B.Soc.Sc. (Hons) (SCU), PhD (SCU) Dr Louise Holdsworth completed her PhD thesis in 2008. Her thesis addressed the negotiated meanings and experiences of housing tenure in a social, economic and political context. Louise has previously worked through the University of Sydney on the Australian Rural Mental Health Study (ARMHS) coordinating the study on the Far North Coast of NSW. More recently she was part of a team working on a systematic review on service linkages in primary mental health care, funded through APHCRI at the ANU. Louise is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the CGER, predominantly researching problem gambling and co-morbid disorders. Louise's key areas of interest include: mental health issues; gambling issues; housing related concerns and policy; research concerning disadvantaged social groups, especially from a gendered perspective; qualitative research and feminist research.
