About Loni McKown

Loni Smith McKown brings multimedia journalism skills to her position as the first Professional Practice Faculty member of the Eugene S. Pulliam School of Journalism in the College of Communication. She brings experience from nearly 30 years in the field as a professional journalist, including more than 20 years as a newspaper reporter and editor, and, more recently, five years as producer for the investigative team at Indianapolis' CBS affiliate, where she also produced information exclusively for online presentation.
