Abstract
A monetary economy is a network of entities that balance their budgets. A balanced budget is a circuit. An economy has many circuits each connected to other circuits that form larger organizations. Economic science describes these organizations and their activities. Circuits view an economy more generally than as firms and households. New problems stem from the computer age. The cost of communications is almost zero. Artificial intelligence is growing and creating a new economic environment. Models of an economy using circuits ar better to analyze and study their economic effects.
