Places where teachers learn

Lawrence Ingvarson, ACER

Abstract

This book examines recent developments in educational policy and management. It subjects school decision making and management to a rigorous scrutiny from a wide range of disciplinary perspectives ( philosophical, historical, sociological, management) and combines these with insights gained from direct practical experience and from research conducted in school systems that have moved towards a school based approach to decision making and management.
