Minding the gaps: reflecting on the story of Australian mediation

Laurence Boulle, Bond University

Abstract

Extract:

As mediation practitioners, theorists and onlookers, we have our own personal stories of our invol vement in the mediation movement. Some of these are heroic dramas, others soap operas, and others more like fairytales. They provide themes of expectation and frustration, hope and disappointment, pathos and t riumph, deriving from our individual involvement in the mediation movement. They provide themes and lessons for others who might be interested in, or trapped into, hearing about them.
