kynita stringer-stanback is one of two Diversity Resident Librarians/Research
Assistant Professors at the University of Tennessee for 2010-2012. stringer-stanback, a
2009 MSLS graduate from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill, has worked in
academic, corporate and public libraries, in both technical and public services. At the
University of Tennessee, her focus has been multi-media production and digitization. She
has also taught general education courses, organized summer outreach programs for high
school students, and promoted Trace to faculty to increase participation. A fluent
Spanish speaker, she has taught in Latin America and studied in Spain. Her primary
interests are marketing and outreach to under-served communities.
