BBus(RMIT) BA(BYU) MBA(Oregon) PhD(Bond) Kieth Hales began his work career in the marketing and distribution sector. This was followed by a 19 year stint in the Royal Australian Air Force where he was a logistics officer. In this capacity he was involved in all aspects of logistics planning, co-ordination and execution not only in Australia, but at various locales around Southeast Asia and the United States. He began his academic career in 2003 when he joined Bond University as a Teaching Fellow. Kieth completed his Ph.D at Bond in Information Services in 2005 and is now an Assistant Professor in the department. Given his background with the R.A.A.F. it is not surprising that Kieth's expertise lies in the areas of logistics systems and the multi-dimensional aspects of material and information flows in supply chains and the strategic application and management of information technology.
