Tickling and teasing the real: mocking reality TV in the film Series 7
Abstract
This article compares the ways in which both reality TV and mockumentary film make "truth" claims. Also examined is the ways in which faux documentaries masquerade by artfully mixing direct cinema with narrative fiction in order to impart a socio-cultural critique.
