About Kevin D. Ausman

Dr. Kevin D. Ausman is an Assistant Professor for the Department of Chemistry at Boise State University. He earned his Ph.D. in Physical Chemistry and a B.A. in Chemistry from Rice University. He was Executive Director of the National Science Foundation funded Center for Biological and Environmental Nanotechnology for five years. Dr. Ausman’s expertise includes such areas as environmental chemistry, functionalization chemistry, molecular spectroscopy, and kinetics, all as applied to engineered nanomaterials. He has given over 60 presentations on his work. He currently serves on the editorial board for the Journal of Nanoengineering and Nanosystems, and as a peer reviewer for over 20 publications. Dr. Ausman is also a member of the American Chemcial Society and the Electrochemical Society.
