Abstract

In a residential Symposium on "Peptides as Targets for Drug Research" at Vanbrugh College, University of York, U.K. organized by the Society of Drug Research, several experts from academia and pharmaceutical industries presented concepts, reviews and possible applications on various aspects of peptides which may be important in the development of new targets for drug research. The following is a summary of some salient points in this rapidly growing field, with general references for readers' further pursuits.
