Dr. Kelly Cross came to Boise State from the Boise School District in 2011. She had been principal of Liberty Elementary School for a year and Adams Elementary School for three years. Dr. Cross earned both her Ed.D. and M.A. at Boise State, and her B.A. in English and French literature at University of California, Santa Cruz. She is a member of the American Association of School Administrators and the Association for Supervision of Curriculum Development. She also is a curriculum auditor for Curriculum Management Systems Inc.
