Kathleen (Katie) Brown’s research and scholarship is focused in the area of intellectual property, acting skills for lawyers, law and literature, management and a variety of legal research related topics. She teaches advanced legal research courses, is a frequent guest lecturer in the law school classroom and Adjunct Faculty for the Meinder School of Buisness, Master of Science in Energy Legal Studies program. Ms. Brown is a very active member of the American Association of Law Libraries(AALL). She has participated in a variety of leadership roles throughout the Association chapters and special interest sections. In 2011, Ms. Brown became a member of the AALL Executive Board and received the Emerging Leader Award. Prior to her law librarianship career Ms. Brown was an acting instructor. Kathleen Brown earned her B.F.A. from The Theater School at DePaul University, J.D. from Seattle University Law School and M.S.(LIS) from the iSchool at Drexel University.
