My husband and I moved from Chesterfield, Virginia to the Lynchburg area in 2001.
After being here for a few years, I became captivated by Reverend Jerry Falwell’s vision
to prepare young adults for a life of service and ministry in the profession of their
choice and God’s calling. I also desired to make use of my education and professional
training and by God’s grace I joined the faculty as an Adjunct Reference Librarian at
Liberty in 2004. More than a career, this is a ministry to me. To be able to support and
encourage young people in their faith while teaching them the fundamental aspects of
research and the organization of information is richly rewarding – and educational! To
work alongside faculty and staff with the same core values and goals is a blessing
indeed.
