About Kathleen Phillips

Kathleen Phillips, Professor Emeritus of the Department of Public Health, has been teaching health education professional preparation courses at EIU since 1978. During her career, Dr. Phillips has authored articles and made numerous presentations on professional program assessment and internship practices. She successfully completed the Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES) requirements in 1989 and the Master Certified Health Education Specialist (MCHES) requirements in 2011.
