My research training and experience is in breast cancer epidemiology, with a strong
focus on determinants of mammographic density. To date, I have published on how body
composition, physical activity, and inflammatory factors affect mammographic density.
Additionally, I have an ongoing pilot study examining the impact of weight loss on change
in mammographic density. Recently I have expanded my research focus to study the health
of breast cancer survivors as well as determinants and effects of vasomotor symptoms in
healthy women.
