About Karen Eby

Before joining the OCU law faculty, Professor Eby practiced law with the Oklahoma City firm of Crowe & Dunlevy, with the Tulsa firm of Boesche, McDermott & Eskridge, and as a sole practitioner associated with a small Oklahoma City firm that represented parties in business bankruptcies. She also taught debtor/creditor law as adjunct faculty member of the University of Oklahoma College of Law. She is currently a Special Justice on the Supreme Court of the Cheyenne-Arapaho Tribe.
Professor Eby received her B.S. from Oklahoma State University and her J.D. from the University of Tulsa where she served as Notes and Comments Editor for the Tulsa Law Journal and Order of the Curule Chair. She teaches Legal Research and Writing and Appellate Advocacy.
