I am currently a lecturer in mathematics education at Cape Peninsula University of
Technology (Wellington) near Cape Town. I work in the Education faculty and helps to
train teachers to teach school mathematics in high schools. My special interest is topics
in pure mathematics and trying to build conceptual links with topics in school
mathematics. In this regard I engage with the topic of cryptology as one of the topics in
pure mathematics. Born in Leightonville across the Buffalo River , I moved to Schornville
where I stayed in Buffalo Road, the main road leading up to the town in Bisho and the
townships Zwelistha and Breidbach in the metro council of Buffalo City
