Dr Jan Wright is a Professorial Research fellow in the Faculty of Education. She has designed and taught subjects which examine sport, physical activity and physical and health education from a critical/socio-cultural perspective. Her courses also cover issues such as the relationship between language and ideology, media representations of sport and sporting 'bodies' and the health of young people.
