Justin Kerner works as a judicial law clerk, serving the Honorable Mary L. Cooper of
the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey. He drafts opinions
concerning such areas as labor law, intellectual property law, administrative law,
federal civil procedure, and state law claims relating to torts and contracts. He
previously served as the first full-term judicial law clerk for the Honorable Michael J.
Koury, Jr. of the Northampton County Court of Common Pleas. 

Mr. Kerner also teaches on an adjunct basis at The College of New Jersey School of
Business, where his classes focus on current legal and ethical issues. He has lectured at
the University of Pennsylvania's School of Social Policy and Practice and at the
Villanova University School of Law. 

During the 2013/14 term, Mr. Kerner will clerk for the Hon. Robert E. Cowen of the United
States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit.
