Exploring the First Amendment Rights of Teens in Relationship to Sexting and Censorship

Abstract

This article addresses teen sexting from a First Amendment vantage point. It considers adolescent cognitive development, finds authority for a sphere of teen sexual privacy encompassing teen sexting images and advances the application of a variable strict scrutiny standard to insure the constitutionality of teen sexting legislation.
