Dangerous games in the classroom : reconciling learning gain with measurement of achievement
Abstract
The author considers, from a practitioner perspective, what Australia's obsession with measurement means in the classroom. She examines how schools will respond to the benchmarking agenda and what the consequences will be for student learning outcomes.
