Juan Pablo Pampillo Baliño, Ph.D., law professor, researcher and Director of the
Legal Research Center at the Escuela Libre de Derecho. After ten years of professional
activities, he is now devoted to legal education and research in the areas of Integration
Law & Comparative Law, Legal History, Jurisprudence and Constitutional Law. He
obtained his law degree with honors from the Escuela Libre de Derecho, where he has also
taught Legal History, Jurisprudence and Ethics. Thereafter, he earned his doctor of laws
degree Ph.D. cum laude from the Universidad Complutense de Madrid, were he was also
awarded with the prestigious Premio Extraordinario. Appointed as National Researcher by
the CONACYT, he is an active member of several scientific and professional associations
as well as different editorial boards of academic law journals. He is author of 6 books,
has participated in more than 20 book chapters and has published more than 40 papers in
several law journals. During the past years, has served as lecturer and visiting
professor at several institutions in Mexico, Rome, New York, Brazil, Argentina and
Colombia.
Juan Pablo Pampillo Baliño es profesor, investigador y Director del Centro de
Investigación e Informática Jurídica de la Escuela Libre de Derecho. Tras diez años de
actividad profesional, se dedica a la docencia y la investigación jurídica en los ámbitos
del Derecho de la Integración, Derecho Comparado, Historia del Derecho, Filosofía
Jurídica y Derecho Constitucional. Es abogado por la Escuela Libre de Derecho y Doctor en
Derecho cum laude y Premio Extraordinario por la Universidad Complutense de Madrid. Es
Investigador Nacional, nivel II, reconocido por el CONACYT, miembro de diversas
asociaciones científicas y profesionales, así como de varios consejos editoriales de
revistas científicas en México y en el extranjero. Es autor de 6 libros, ha participado
como coautor de otros 20 y ha publicado más de 40 artículos en diversas revistas
arbitradas e indizadas, nacionales y extranjeras. Ha sido profesor visitante y
congresista, en diversas instituciones de México, Roma, Nueva York, Brasil, Argentina y
Colombia.
