Abstract

A philologist/grammarian/lexicographer and legal scholar, the author has taken painstaking care to compile a dictionary to encourage the use of proper Spanish by legal professionals. This dictionary highlights usages -- what are known as grammatical and lexical collocations. It assigns abstract definitions of words to the background. The first collocational dictionary of the Spanish-language, appearing 10 full years before the Diccionario combinatorio del español contemporáneo (2004) by Ignacio Bosque of the Spanish Royal Academy.
