Joy Van Eck Peluchette received her DBA from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale in 1991 with a major in Organizational Behavior and minor in Strategic Management. She completed a Master’s degree in Industrial Relations (MSIR) in 1981 and a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration (BBA) in 1979 from West Virginia University Research Interests. Most recently, Joy Peluchette was a Professor of Management in the College of Business at the University of Southern Indiana where she served for almost twenty years (Professor 2000-2010, Associate Professor 1997-2000, Assistant Professor 1991-1997). Prior to that, she was on the faculty of the University of Wyoming, Marshall University, Southern Illinois University at Carbondale, West Virginia University, and Salem College. Joy has held leadership positions with the Midwest Academy of Management, serving as Program Chair, President, and a Chair of the Board. She currently edits a quarterly issue of the Journal of Leadership & Organizational Studies (a Sage publication).
