I am currently an Assistant Professor in the Faculty of Law of Queen's
University in Kingston, Ontario. My research interests encompass commercial dispute
resolution, international sales law (in particular the CISG), international arbitration,
comparative contract law, linguistic issues in law, and sociological analysis of law.
Generally, my writing explores what happens when actors from different backgrounds—legal,
cultural, and linguistic—meet in the international legal arena.
