A native of Chile, José Francisco García teaches constitutional law at the
Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile and constitutional theory and economic analysis
of law at the Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez. He has served as the John M. Olin Fellow at the
University of Chicago law school, where he obtained a doctorate in law. In Chile, he
currently directs the justice program at the think-tank Libertad y Desarrollo. In 2007,
the Chilean newspaper El Mercurio named him one of its top 100 young innovators under 35
who are changing the face of Chile's economy.
