I am currently a litigation associate at the New York office of Latham & Watkins LLP. My practice areas include white collar defense, and securities litigation and professional responsibility. My pro bono practice includes the representation of current and former inmates in civil rights actions arising under 42 U.S.C. § 1983, and representing undocumented minors before the Department of Homeland Security in applications for Special Immigrant Juvenile Status. I have served on the NYSBA Committee on Civil Rights, and have recieved The Legal Aid Society 2008 Pro Bono Award. My research interests focus primarily on the Fourth and Eighth Amendments, particularly how concepts of human dignity impact constitutional analysis. I have also written on the intersection between executive power and the First Amendment.
