Jay Laird is a freelance writer and game designer who divides his time between Cambridge, MA and San Francisco, CA. He has served as script doctor for two feature-length independent films and as lead designer on several popular iPhone and Flash games, most notably for "Bad Apples" and "Zombie Drop". He has written for several comics series (including "Star Wars Tales" from Dark Horse Comics) and has contributed chapters to books about Flash, After Effects, and Web design. In his spare time, Jay composes music that sometimes surfaces in his videogames and creates digital art that occasionally finds its way into the physical world. Jay holds an MFA in Creative Writing from Lesley University.
