Metaphors of Leadership in Post-Compulsory Education
Abstract
Understanding metaphor usage can reveal hidden assumptions tacitly influencing educational leaders, enabling also culture change in organisations. This paper reports on a model investigating UK metaphors of post-compulsory educational leadership, reporting on a number of case study interviews conducted with senior leaders in the UK learning and skills sector.
