Jennifer F. Tseng, M.D., M.P.H., is a surgical oncologist and health services
(outcomes) researcher with a focus on predictive modeling, risk score development, and
biomarker discovery in pancreatic, hepatobiliary, gastric and other cancers, and in
gastrointestinal surgery. She is the Director of the UMass Pancreas Program, and directs
the Surgical Outcomes Analysis & Research (SOAR) group at UMass, which has developed
a tissue-linked pancreatic database that is correlated with phenotypic data. The SOAR
group has expertise in large databases and risk score development, and has ongoing
collaborations with individuals both within and external to the University of
Massachusetts Medical School.
