Professor Beals currently serves as the Head of Special Collections for the University Libraries. Resources in Special Collections include rare books, manuscripts, and university archives. Beals first joined the University Libraries as the subject librarian for Art and Architecture in 2002. Prior to her arrival in Knoxville, Beals served as the acting chief librarian of the Albany Institute of History and Art in upstate New York.
