The University Librarian is responsible for managing all operations of the McMaster
University Library and is a member of the Senior Management Team of the University. 

The McMaster University Library is comprised of three libraries including the Mills
Library (Social Sciences/Humanities), the Innis Library (Business) and the Thode Library
(Science/Engineering). McMaster University Library is a member of ARL (Association of
Research Libraries) and CARL (Canadian Association of Research Libraries) The University
Library also includes the William Ready Division of Archives and Special Collections.
Additionally, the University Librarian at McMaster is also responsible for Classroom
Audio-Visual Services, a staff of 10 audio-visual specialists supporting a wide variety
of learning spaces on campus. 

My personal research interests include library transformation, digital library
initiatives, educational technologies, and gaming. Federally funded research currently
stands at approximately $2.5 million.
