About Jeffrey H. Glans

My research reflects my background in industrial research and development in engineering polymers. This includes monomer and polymer synthesis, polymer modification/copolymerization by reactive extrusion, synthesis and characterization of model systems for polymers, and application of dynamic NMR to amide conformation problems.
Degrees: B.S. University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill, NC (1981); Ph.D. The University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, MI (1986); Post doctoral training; The University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, MI (1987)
Teaching responsibilities: Organic Chemistry, Polymer chemistry, Theory and practice of NMR spectroscopy.
