Jeff H. Abbott, PH.D., J.D., life's passion is public school governance reform,
specifically the deregulation and de-politicization of public education governance. Dr.
Abbott is an assistant professor at Indiana University Purdue University Fort Wayne. He
has the rank of adjunct scholar with the Indiana Policy Review Foundation. He has been a
public school teacher, a public school superintendent, and school attorney and consultant
for over 60 public school districts. He is licensed to practice law in Indiana. Dr.
Abbott also is a trained mediator and has black belt training in the quality process. He
teaches graduate level courses in the College of Education & Public Policy. He
teaches school law, quality process, and teacher development & evaluation.
