Dr Jean Griffiths BA(Qld) GradDipCounselling(BCAE) MNA(UNSW) PhD(Flinders) 

Dr Griffiths retired from SCU at the end of 2012. 

Dr Jean Griffiths is a Senior Lecturer in the School of Arts and Social Sciences at
Southern Cross University and is based at the Coffs Harbour campus. Her general research
interests include trauma and grief; disaster management; counselling; social policy;
health policy and politics; organisational culture. 

Specific projects Dr. Griffiths has worked on are the Mid North Coast co-ordinated Care
Trial; investigation of the effects of the Kempsey and Grafton bus crashes; the Clybucca
Aged Care Strategic Plan; the Aged Care Transition Intervention Case Manager.
