(Ben) Shaw is Professor of Human Resource Management, School of Business, Bond University. He has published articles in Journal of Applied Psychology, Organizational Behavior and Human Performance, Personnel Administrator, Journal of Management, Academy of Management Review, Academy of Management Executive, Journal of Management Education, Asia Pacific Journal of Human Resources, Human Relations, Work & Stress, International Journal of Human Resource Management, Journal of Management Education, and Bond Management Review. He is currently on the editorial board of the Academy of Management Journal. He is co-author of Human Resources Management with C.D. Fisher and L. Schoenfeldt. His areas of specialisation include cross-cultural management and strategic HRM. He is Global Coordinator of the Conference on International Human Resource Management which has held recent meetings in Cairns (2005), Tallinn, Estonia (2007) and Santa Fe, New Mexico USA (2009). His most recent research interests lie in identifying the nature, causes, and outcomes of bad leadership in organisations.
