Quantum Computation: An Introduction

James Grimmelmann

Abstract

A survey of the state-of-the-art in quantum computation as of 1999. I show how computer science has reasonable approaches to almost all of the signifiacnt systems questions that would arise if a large, working quantum computer were to be implemented tomorrow. This was my undergraduate honors thesis in computer science.
