About Jack Marr

Joining Boise State University in 2015, Jack Marr is a Clinical Associate Professor for the Department of Management and College of Innovation and Design. His most recent professional experience includes working as an Adjunct Professor for City University of Hong Kong’s Department of Management and for the University of Ballarat’s MBA Program in Hong Kong, while simultaneously working as the Principal Consultant and Founder of Enterprise Leadership Learning and Implementation in Shenzhen China. Professor Marr earned a Mini-MBA and Leadership Development from McKinsey and Company, an MA in International Relations from the University of Chicago, and a B.A. in Rhetoric and Philosophy from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. For the 150th anniversary of the US-Japan Relationship, hosted by PM Koizumi and US Ambassador Baker, Professor Marr was an elected representative of the US State Offices Association. He was one of seven advisors chosen by the Chinese Consulate in Chicago to translate for Chinese Premier Zhu Rongji’s delegation during his US visit in April 1999.
