Maria is a Research Professional at the University of Chicago. She previously worked as a Research Assistant at Marquette University, a Teaching Assistant at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and an Economic Research Analyst at Windermere Wealth Advisors. She has volunteered in Latin America, participating in medical brigades as well as acting as a consultant for small businesses in need of technical expertise. Her research includes market dynamics, decision making under uncertainty, process improvement, and supply chain management. She has published in the Journal of Real Estate Finance and Economics, and has received numerous awards, including the T. R. Martin Award for Excellence in Graduate Education. Maria earned her Master of Science in Applied Economics with a focus on finance and real estate from Marquette University.
