Ian Rae is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Modern Languages at King's University College. Before joining King's College at UWO, he was Acting Program Director at the McGill Institute for the Study of Canada, where he taught in the Canadian Studies program. He is a specialist in Canadian literature and he published _From Cohen to Carson: The Poet's Novel in Canada_ (McGill-Queen's University Press) in 2008. He is presently writing a monograph on Anne Carson, as well as papers on Al Purdy, Alice Munro, and the creative economy in Canada.
