Abstract

Presents a narration that describes a personal encounter that an expectant mother experienced during a routine prenatal office visit. Relevance to promote breastfeeding as the optimum method for infant nutrition; Support and guidance needed by mothers from health care providers as well as from the family members; Importance of approaching in an unbiased fashion to promote and support mother's decisions to breastfeed.
